Step 2

We run an initial report and then perform on-going property monitoring for any weather conditions that may impact the roof, siding, or gutters. No commitment. No monthly fees. No cost.

Storm Notification

Step 3

When a weather event hits that we believe meets the criteria to be worth investigating, we inform the property and schedule an on-site drone inspection. No commitment. No per occurrence fees. No cost.

On-Site Inspection

Step 4

We send an FAA licensed drone pilot to your property to perform an on-site inspection. No commitment. No inspection fee. No cost. NOTE: For single family or duplex homes, we typically perform inspections on-site without the use of a drone. Drones are used for larger properties.

Report Analysis

Step 5

We meet in person or via video call typically with the property owner or committee representing the owners to review everything. Based on weather data and our findings during the inspection, we will determine the viability of filing an insurance claim. No commitment. No obligation. No cost.

Meet With The Adjuster

Step 6

After the Report Analysis Meeting, you will decide whether you want to proceed or not. Depending on the project size and scope, we will meet with the insurance adjuster, and we may also have the property evaluated by a 3rd party public adjuster.

Why do we use drones in the Storm Monitoring Program?

We use drones for inspections on our commercial properties (office buildings, retail spaces, restaurants, educational institutions, churches, synagogues, temples, senior living communities, and healthcare facilities, etc.) because it is the most efficient way to accurately evaluate the structure and the impact of the storm. If the property appears to be impacted, then there will be a follow up session scheduled with the insurance company and our representatives where we will also physically be on the roof performing more in depth detailed evaluation.

Yes. We will present the information obtained during an onsite inspection with you. The point of the program is to ensure that we provide you with up-to-date information quickly and efficiently so we can ensure your property is protected after a weather event.

Yes. All our pilots are licensed and registered with the FAA. Advocate complies with all regulations for utilizing drone technology.
